Dogs love attention and when they were puppies, they probably were reinforced for jumping up on your and your friends. But, a year later and 40 lbs heavier, your dog is still jumping up on people. This is a huge problem for many owners who enjoy dogs but don’t enjoy them overly excited and jumpy. You may even have a hard time with friends and family over as your dog wants to jump on all of them and is forced to sit in his kennel or stay outside for the duration of the visit. Here is a video to stop your dog from jumping up on people. This is actually part one of many sessions to stop an overly excited dog. They are also using clicker training which is a great way to train a dog using positive methods.
