The Illusion Collar-Great Tool For Walking Your Dog
Jun 19th, 2009 | By Jessica Kelly | Category: FeaturedAre you having a hard time controlling your dog when you go for a walk? Does your dog pull you and dart in front of you? If so, the Illusion Collar is a great k9 training tool.

What the Illusion Collar does is keep the leash above the collar line. The leash will sit closer to the dogs ears. It is similar to how show dogs are walked around. The Illusion Collar has been seen numerous times on The Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan. This collar will assist your dog to walk without pulling you and it will enable the owner to deliver quick and effective corrections when needed. This collar is only a training collar and should not be worn as the dogs main collar.
The Illusion Collar is different than a harness in that the harness is attaches around the dogs upper chest and back while the Illusion Collar is attaches around the dogs neck. The Illusion Collar is also a training collar while the harness is treated at a standard walking aid to ease the discomfort of training collars for smaller dogs.
Make sure to never leave this collar on your dog unsupervised. As with other training collars such as pincher collars, citronella collars or buckle collars there is always a risk of chocking or harm done when left unsupervised.
The illusion collar is intended for medium sized dogs and for small dogs or puppies under the age of one. Therefore if your dogs neck measures less than 13 inches around the base of their neck, the Illusion Collar is not recommended.
