There are a few different types of dog collars, intended to stop barking or negative behavior, but they all work on the same principle, more or less. A dog barking collar works by doing something to anger, hurt, bother,or distract a dog every time he barks as a means to curb that behavior.

The dog gradually learns that the bark has an unpleasant stimulus, and there is more or less completely.
